 Gracie- Adopted

Gracie is a Haflinger cross filly born on July 26th, 2015 at 7:35 in the morning to Annie, our first rescued pregnant mare. She is a very large filly and we are thinking the sire must have been a thoroughbred. Little Grace looks very much like an Irish sport horse. She is built like a tank but extremely athletic. Gracie has been adopted by a repeat adopter here at LLER and we couldn't be any happier!

Darcy was rescued from the kill pens in Shippensburg, PA along with her friends, Butter and Scotch. She is a late teens, beautiful belgian mare with the sweetest disposition and personality you could ever want. She was extremely emaciated and is steadily gaining weight. She was an amish horse, used up until she was too slow to continue plowing, driving and riding for them. Georgia Aka "Dreamer" to those that followed her story is A young filly who was severely injured standing in the kill pens in Shippensburg, PA. She was shared to Kait, by several different people on several different occasions. This was not by accident, this filly was destined to be saved by LLER. We did not have long to fundraise for her as she had until Sunday afternoon and we began fundraising Saturday night around 11pm. By the powerful grace of god, the donations started pouring in for her and by Sunday around noon, she was bailed and safe. She completed her QT and within 2 hours of arriving at LLER, she was adopted by a wonderful man named Brian, who patiently awaited her arrival.
